I have pneumonia, it began with a fever and a cough. I’ve been on this antibiotics and now my fever is gone, but my chest is still tight. Does the fever being gone mean that my infection is gone?

I don’t believe this is possible. Nor do I believe that if it were possible that an ER doctor would just send her home with antibiotics.

About a month ago I was hospitalized for a severe lung infection. The antibiotics/steroids etc have trashed my immune system and I have been sick nonstop.

Do you have any suggestions for boosting my immune system? I started chewing garlic today and looking for other remedies/foods/suggestions. Please help-I can’t miss more work. :/

I have sinus and ear infection and started antibiotics. My eyes started getting strange blurry and like a white discharge coming from them. Has anyone had this with infection or with Amoxicillin?

I am not sure if it is acid reflux but it definitely seems like it..everytime i swallow food or even my spit i feel a sharp pain go down my back..it also hurts when i burp so i figured its acid reflux. I just had my wisdom teeth pulled so ive been taking a lot of antibiotics and advils if that has anything to do with it, but i just recently stopped taking both.

My husband and I started TTC in August, and when I started bleeding, I assumed it was my period. However, I spotted for about 2 weeks, and for about 2 days of that, I was bleeding severely. I started thinking maybe I had a miscarriage and made an appointment with my gyno. When I went in, he did a pelvic exam and said I had a bacterial infection and gave me some antibiotics. He said the spotting and the heavy bleeding was probably due to the infection.

My cat has a bladder infection, diagnosed by a vet three days ago. He is on antibiotics and just took the 4th dose of 14 (two weeks), but I just found that he peed on a pillow in our living room. Is this normal or should he be using the litter box by now?
