I’m doing a presentation on it and thought up of some questions I may be asked during it.
If you may have contracted HIV through blood such as dirty needles or blood transfusions, would an HIV antibody test be able to tell you if you are infected the next day of the incident or would you still have to wait 30 days and get retested if the previous one says negative?
If you take the HIV antibody test 30 days after the incident where you may have contracted HIV and it says negative, would you still need to be retested later to be sure? If so, when and how often till you would know for sure?
Is there an HIV test and an AIDS test or would an HIV antibody test be able to tell you if you have AIDS?

I am trying to take my cousin to get to tested for HIV/AIDS but the thing is she doesn’t want her mom to know so I am thinking about buying a HIV testing kit for her. But I don’t know what drugstores sell HIV testing kits and in order to buy a HIV testing kit do you have to be a certain age? And if I buy one online do I need a credit card to purchase one?……Thanks.

Ok, well today is World Aids day. I hope you all got tested. But, i was wondering, if someone who has a heart issue, or already has a bad immune system, how long does it take for hiv to turn into aids for them? can it be less then a year?

Last week, I was eating a big mac at mcdonalds and later found out that it originated from a homosexual cow who was infected with the AIDS virus. I ate the whole big mac and left nothing in the plate. Do I need to get tested? Can the disease be transmitted this way? I am afraid that I might have it.

in the united states the male homosexual has a higher rate than others. however, in africa the straight female is more likely to test positive for aids/hiv than homosexuals.

I recently found out my friends that some completely messed up kid did actually stick his dick in my mouth while I was sleeping. And yes, it was completely possible for him to do that without getting caught by the teachers. But yeah, I’m pretty sure it happened since they keep insisting it is true, not to mention I know the kid is capable of doing something f**ked up like this. But yea, if some kid stick his dick in my mouth would I have AIDS? What if he did have AIDS? Should I get tested?

From an audiologist, I’m told that a prescription hearing aid can run about 00. I see ads for hearing aids that are programmed based on hearing test results that go for around 00. Is there much difference in quality?

I was recently in a car accident, admitted to ICU and my blood was tested for drugs and alcohol. I have heard that whenever blood is taken at a hospital that they are required to test it for all variations of Hepititis and HIV/AIDS. I was wondering if this is true and if the hospital is required to inform you if you test positive for any of the above.

I have wondered for a long time how band aids can be guaranteed sterile since the guarantee only applies to unopened band aids. To test or use the band aid it would have to be opened and then there is no guarantee. This is the equivalent of saying your new car has a lifetime 100% guarantee covering any problem unless it is driven. Is there really any guarantee and if you developed an infection could you sue?
