Hello, I am a fourteen year old girl, and I want to get tested for AIDS/HIV. I am not planning on having sex anytime soon at all, I am just really paranoid that I may be a carrier, and I want to know if I am. Would the doctors have any problems testing such a young person, or would they be suspicious of me having sexual activities? Should I tell my mum? I’m worried all these people may get suspicious of me and that rumors might get started. I just want to know for my own sake and awareness. Any advice? Should I be worried about AIDS/HIV anyway, or should I let it go?

Will your gynecologist test you for aids if you ask them too? Also how long will it take to get my results back?

Aubrey: It’s not just gay people who get AIDS.
You’re misunderstanding "open." I mean VOLUNTARY, where the option is OPEN. Sorry about the confusion.

Do you think HIV/AIDS testing should be made mandatory by schools?

I went to a free AIDS testing center, and I realized that not only do a lot of people who are HIV positive go there, but a lot of the people who work there are probably HIV positive as well. Isn’t this dangerous?

I had sex with some transgendered chick about 9-months ago, and I got an AIDS test just for the heck of it (the saliva speed test), and it came out positive. I took the blood test, and it too was positive. My doctor took my T-Cell count an she said it was 400 hundred, they say I nearly have full blown AIDS! She gave me some zidovudine, my boyfriend is coming from College this week, how long will I be contagious, and when will I be cured? Case Studies would be nice too. Thanks in Advance!

I remember when I 1st learned about how aids works & it was easy 2 understand why a cure would B so hard 2 find, but I just heard on the news that there’s an aids vaccine, it’s just pending FDA approval. So how long do U think it will B before we come up with a cure?
Man, modern science & medicine is amazing!

I’m getting a tattoo soon, and I am positive that I want one. The only thing I’m worried about is getting hepatitis- a blood disease that I’ve heard could be easily passed along when getting a tattoo- much easier to get than AIDS. I’m very, very nervous about this.
Does anyone know what the chances are of getting hepatitis from a tattoo? Do you know anyone who’s gotten it from a tattoo? Or maybe you did? I just need all the information i can get about hepatitis, how it is contracted, etc. The place I’m going for my tattoo says that the tattoo artists have been vaccinated with hepatitis A and B shots. So that being said, how much of a chance is there? And isn’t there a hepatitis C?

I am trying Doctor Scholl’s Wart Remover "Band-aids" and it is making my wart turn white. I have had the wart on my finger forever! I have been to the Doctor and he has attempted to freeze the wart off numerous times. Any suggestions? It is embarassing to have such a thing on my finger.
