I am just wondering something. I have been with my fiance for 3 years. After being together for 2.5 years he got an aids test. It came back negative. Neither one of us has cheated. Could I have aids and after having unprotected sex everysingle time in 2.5 years not have given it to him?
Thanks cj, a lot better than the first answer lol
I was on the depo shot for 3 years. I kept missing my dates, so I stop getting them for about 8 months. I started again in May/2008. As of today, I still haven’t had my period. I’ve had bad gas and constipation as well as abdominal pain for almost 2 weeks. I think I may be pregnant.
My boyfriend’s had a toenail fungus for over 3 years, and hasn’t done a whole lot except try one fungus pill that he found on Ebay. It looks pretty black, it’s short and spikey. It doesn’t grow at all and it keeps getting shorter. Should we even try Lamisil or is it too late? Is removing the nail and option and if so how does that look? Will it ever grow back into place?

I’ve been searching and wondering, what type of careers in the medical field besides phlebotomy can you go to school for to work specifically with the blood, such as evaluation, identifying, specific diseases which involve the blod, etc etc??
I live in arizona and to become a phlebotomist (minus the prerequisites) the actual course is only 9 months. I would like to work in this field but would not like to spend more then 2-3 years in college to advance into this type of medical field. Any information is helpful!!!
I’ve been getting migraines for the past 2 or 3 years due to stress. I usually get them first thing in the morning, maybe one day a month. On these days I have a hard time getting up and going to work. It feels like a ring around my head that someone is pressing down on. Sometimes it goes up to the top of my head too. Daylight will bother me. Every once in a while I’ll throw up. Although, compared to other people’s stories, my migranes seem mild. My internal medicine doctor recommended Excedrine for migraines which works well. But sometimes it feels like my migraine doesn’t fully go away and lingers there all day long. Should I be taking something stronger? Should I just ask my internal medicine doctor for a prescription? What would you recommend to take?
Any medical work experience, medical ‘camps’ or practice available in Brisbane or any surrounding areas?
I am hoping to study Medicine at university and am currently looking for opportunities to complete volunteer work in the medical sector, to gain experience of working with patients, doctors, and other medical professionals. I have experience of working within the retail department, and also experience of volunteering within the childcare sector where I worked looking after many young children for 3 weeks, following many volunteer sessions over the previous 5 years. I have also helped to run many different music workshops for young children over the course of 2 years. In addition to this, I have also spent time an Elderly person’s home over the christmas period for 3 years, singing carols and talking with the residents. Before leaving the U.K., I spent alot of time with a 2 year old girl with Downs Syndrome and found this hugely rewarding.
My wife’s skin itches, and she has to eat allergy medicine everyday, now it has lasted for 3 years, now, her heart feel not good, I am not sure if it is because she eat allergy medicine too much. Please advise what harm it will do for a person who has eaten allergy medicine many years? please please …, thanks!
colon cleansing is advertised constantly on my local radio station, I go for a colonoscopy every 3 years will this show if I have a membrane that the cleansing is suppose to remove ???
read the question before passing judgement,,,I don"t go around looking for an enema
I’m 14 years old and I’ve had juvenile diabetes (otherwise known as type 1 diabetes) for about 3 years. I’m 5’8 and 160 lbs (please no rude comments about my weight.) Would you consider that to be really overweight? If so, how can I exersise without hitting so many low blood sugars? It would kind of defeat the purpose, exersising then drinking juice to get my energy back up. Thanks!
I read on the internet that its not mandatory for everyone, and family, or maybe couples, maybe excludedfrom the test. I also read that the test is upto the discretion of the medical examiner.
The only unprotected sex I had was s*cking a woman’s vagina for less than 5 minutes, which was about 2-3 years back. I am generally sick and exhibit a few symptoms of aids like opportunistic infections, burning feet, nausea, & I keep getting the flu.
Is the aids test mandatory or not?
I’m a high school senior, and I’m planning on majoring in Chemical Engineering. However, I am also considering med school afterwards (to become a Family Physician, maybe.)
I know I’d have the qualifications for it, but I don’t know if everything will just be too overwhelming/strenuous. 4 years of med school + 3 years of residency + fellowship + yearly examinations + other stuff I don’t yet know about equals a huge chunk of your life during the years that most people settle down and start a family.
So I guess my question (sorry it took so long) is how much devotion does a career in medicine require? Don’t get me wrong, I like to be challenged, I’m a hard worker, but I don’t want to be "married" to my career.
So thanks for your help.
I have had an eating disorder for the past 3 years, and desperately need inpatient treatment care, but my insurance company doesn’t cover the costs, so I am trying to find a new insurance company that does

It hurts every now and then when I bite down on something hard and the gum above my tooth is always swollen. I cant afford dental treatment yet, so do you know any home remedies or alternative medicine to make my poor gumk feel better?
