I’m not sure exactly what your question is, but I did find what seems to be a good website on Unbalanced Dysfunctional Breathing. I’ll post the link: http://www.breathing.com/articles/udb.htm
Also you mentioned something about sleep apnea. This is a disorder in which you stop breathing while you are sleeping for a period of somewhere between 10 secs and 1 min before you breath again. If you want more information about this you can go to the forum:

and they will help you out.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
Quit screwing around with phony diagnoses such as "unbalanced dysfunctional breathing disorder". If you have asthma, the treatment of that is very well known and straight forward. If you have acid reflux, it can precipitate night time asthma, for sure. You need to take an antacid for this when you go to bed. If mild, a simple antacid such as Rolaids or Maalox will work fine. If severe, you would probably benefit from a stronger medication, either one of the H2 blockers such as pepcid, or a proton pump inhibitor such as prilosec. If you have sleep apnea, it is most likely because you are morbidly obese. You need to lose the fat. Otherwise, see a doctor. You sound like you have a little bit of real disease, and mostly alot of mental problems.
my girlfriend has Asthma and this disease really annoys her. Her asthma is usually triggered by pollens or dust mite.
