Medicine???
My daughter hates to take certain medicines. Any suggestions on a different way to give it to her. I don’t want to put it in her cup because she doesn’t usually drink it all the way. She’s 2 and if I put a small amount in her cup she won’t drink it at all! Any help would be great!

This works for my little one…the medicine…plus strawberry quick flavored milk. It’s the only thing that works for us!
Good luck!

WHEN MY NIECE WAS TWO I WOULD GIVE HER SOMETHING TO DRINK WITH HER MED’S. AFTER A COUPLE OF DROPS OUT OF THE SYRINGE SHE WOULD GET A DRINK AND THEN WOULD FINISH IT WITH NO PROBLEMS.
try mixing it in jello made in ice cube trays if it’s a liquid, just make sure you separate the "medicated ones" from others and just give her a snack…she won’t even know the difference. If it’s a pill, crush it and put it in some applesauce…she won’t even know it’s there.
Boy do I understand. I had to fight my little girl when she needed to take any kind of medicine. It was hard but I always had to pretty much force her to take it….it was such a battle. She is four now and likes motrin and amoxicillon….but still refuses to take anything else. Maybe a small amount of pudding would work? Good luck!
show her how you take medicine, explain the idea of swallowing something like that, and how it is beneficial
and necessary. all of my kidds took well to this idea.
if its pills then crush them and put them in her food. if its liquid then explain to her the benefits of this medicine, and why its essential for her to take them, maybe to prevent further illness, or problems in the future. ~~hope this helps~~
got this from a pharmacist. put part of the med in a spoon and cover it with hershey’s syrup (or caramel, strawberry, etc.).not a very healthy idea, but sometimes, you just can’t take it anymore!:)
