Is medical marijuana an effective method for minimizing the possibility of seizures?
I have been taking Dilantin for well over ten years, now. I haven’t experienced a seizure in over a year. Would I be a good candidate for medical marijuana?

In the documentary The Union, I believe they interview a guy who suffers from seizures. They show him before and after taking in a few puffs of marijuana and he was significantly different. So it is possible for MJ to treat such ailments.
There is really only one way to find out, but I would suggest calling up a medical marijuana clinic and finding out for yourself.
"Epilepsy – in some patients, epileptic seizures can be prevented with Marijuana use."
Only a Dr and patient can make this decision.
If MMJ is available there have been positive results. Epilepsy and seizures can be a fine balance of drugs – which after 10 years you know – so please work with a physician.
A patient that finds MMJ working with epilepsy:
