Is it possible to mix human dna with animal dna?
I want serious answers please.
I was just curious if it’s possible to mix human dna with animal, and would the human become or take on that animal that the dna was molded into. I’m talking about Splicing from Batman Beyond, could that be possible and have scientist attempted it?

NO.
How can you demand "serious" answers to a cheezy comic book type question?
No.
its posable allright, but basically impossable due to moral issues, bummer i know haha
You could mix any two samples of DNA together, but they wouldn’t do anything. It is quite a bit more complicated than that. I never saw Batman Beyond, but if that is anything like what they did, it is definitely science fiction. Jurassic Park is a much more realistic scenario, at least as far as getting dino DNA from petrified animals.
We mix the genomes of different species all the time. Heard of GloFish? Those are just normal zebrafish, plus the gene that makes jellyfish flourescent.
And yes, we do it with humans too. Lots of genetic research involves producing human embryos that incorporate genes from other species. Until we get good at creating synthetic genes completely from scratch, this is the main way that genetic engineering works. Unfortunately, laws prevent scientists from implanting these embryos, or allowing them to survive past a certain length of time.
These laws are mostly a consequence of governments scared that human-pig hybrids will be running around before too long, frightening their citizens.
On that subject, take a look here for what would happen if we allowed one of those human-pig hybrid embryos to come to term: http://media.photobucket.com/image/human-pig%20hybrids/Rebeloneil/ManBearPig.jpg
No I don’t think so remember different animals falls to different family, genus, order and species
That alone limit that to happen and remember each an every organism have it number of chromosomes. what can happen in you case is the transfer of gene through the (gmo)
