Although there is over-the-counter medication for this, I urge you to see a doctor soon. No, it is not normal to get a yeast infection this often.
You could have some underlying disorder that is causing it. Also, are you on any other medication? Sometimes low dose antibiotics (for acne for example) or birth control pills can cause yeast infections.
See your doctor!
If they keep coming back it’s not normal.
no!
If you are on birth control, it is normal to have them often.
I would say no… does your doctor know how frequently and regularly they occur? I’d let him/her know so you can be sure he/she is in the loop and can treat you or run tests.
No way! Try changing the fabric of the underwear you buy or something, or don’t wear tight pants. Don’t use soap down there either, get special women’s soap!
no. see your doctor.
No this is not normal. It could be a more serious health issue. It may be a result of your dieting habits or that you are not fully getting the yeast out of your clothes. Are you sure it is a yeast infection? Have you consulted a doctor? A lot of people confuse bacteria for yeast infections and treat the yeast infection. This results in the infection coming back because it was just dormant and never really taken care of.
It is not normal to have them that often on birth control. Call you PCP.
No, it’s not normal
Everyone else is right
Also, if you are having sex with a boyfriend, he could be infected and passing it back to you, he should get treated as well otherwise you might never get rid of it. His symptoms may not be as obvious, so he and you may not have realized he had it.
you probably dont have a yeast infection – its most likely a different infection.
That happened to me, I kept treating it every time it came back as a yeast infection and it would just subside the symptoms
i had to get a totally different medication for it because it wasnt a yeast infection
go to your doctor they should be able to tell you if it is yeast or not and they can give you a stronger medication to kill it completely.
**Good Luck**
No, not normal. I had a yeast infection three times in two years and when I went to the doctor he said THAT was too frequent. He said if I continued to get them to go see him for a more thorough examination. Definitely not normal at all to be getting them that often and so frequently.
Take a look at your life, is there something you’re using, or doing that could be contributing to the yeast infection? In college I got reoccuring yeast infections and after a few months of dealing with them, I connected the dots and turned out using spermicidal condoms was the culprit. The second I stopped using them, I stopped getting yeast infections.
I also got a yeast infection from taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. And it wouldn’t go away until I stopped taking that pill.
Also if you’re having unprotected sex with a boyfriend, and you’ve had a yeast infection you without a doubt gave it to him. Boys get yeast infections as well but they don’t have symptoms. And he is just passing it right back to you when you continue having unprotected sex. He would need to be treated for yeast infection as well.
If you’ve never been to the doctor for this, what you may be thinking is a yeast infection, may not be a yeast infection at all. You may be trying to treat an STI with yeast infection medication and it surpresses it a bit and then it comes back, clearly showing you, hey, this isn’t a yeast infection.
Have you ever been to the gynecologist for this? I suggest you make a trip asap.
