		<description>It could be....Diabetes either type 1 or 2 will effect body systems and organs depending on the individual depending on how that particular system or organ is susceptible to increased sugar, ....when it comes to diabetes it may be very serious or very mild but it is a progressive disease......It is known to damage the esophagus of many diabetics, (though not common).</description>

		<description>No.  Having scar tissue or a stricture in the esophagus would be the cause of this.  He could schedule an endoscopy to have this checked out and if there is a narrowed area, they can stretch it back out and he won&#039;t have probably again for a while (this has a tendency to come back).</description>
