I think my birth control is causing my yeast infections?
Within the past 2 months I’ve had 3 yeast infections, and maybe one was from one not going away. I’m on Yasmine and could this be the reason? What birth control should I switch to?

To my knowledge birth Control pills do not cause yeast infections. Antibiotics can though. Talk to your doctor about your recurrent yeast infections it may be a different kind of yeast that can’t be killed with the medication you are currently using or it could be bacterial. Either way your doctor can tell and prescribe you something better then you are currently using.
You probably didn’t get rid of the first one. were you taking any antibiotics when you got the first yeast infection? That is more likely to cause the yeast infection then the pill. Call your doctor.
I’ve just started Yasmin and I’ve already had a yeast infection so maybe this is common with this birth control pill? Although any birth control pill can cause yeast infections. Speak to your G.P
There is a very high chance its the birth control. When i was on it i had yeast infections all the time but i stopped taking it and i havent had one since. You need to speak to your doctor who will give you more advice and information. No one can tell you what brand to switch to as everyone reacts differently to birth control.
No, that’s not it. Your underwear or pants are probably too tight. Check for a camel toe before you leave the house, because camel toes make you sweaty, and sweat leads to a yeast infection. Or maybe you should shower more.
