Lately I have noticed that my dreams are very real, in first person, have bright colours, and I can actually make my own decisions. (this happens on and off..weeks to months at a time) They do not contain images or thoughts from that prior day, but it’s more so as if my brain scans my whole memory and throws stuff in at random. These vivid dreams are of normal days, with weird occasions and happenings that don’t really seem weird to me in the dream. My emotions are what makes the dreams so vivid, and the sensations such as smell, taste, etc. I am curious to know WHY, so that maybe I can experience these more often. I’m not even sure if these totally random yet information packed dreams mean anything. Lately, these have been the differences in my day that may be triggering this experience:
*I’m pregnant
*I’ve been eating apples A LOT
*I havn’t been going out
*I have been doing a lot of research online (I’m referring to reading)
and i can’t think of anything else right at this moment.

There’s big differences in my dreams throughout my life that last long periods of time. For example, I know that when I feel young and stuck in my position, i have dreams ONLY in my home town, night after night. In these dreams I can go to the far past and far future…… When I feel ambitious and patient…knowing of my good future ahead, I dream of far places, different settings, events, and travel.

Another concern I have…is that out of all of my friends from the past, I always dream of this one guy. He wasn’t my best friend…and we dated a few times. He has the same name as my current fiance, and ironically my best friend has the name too. Am I subconsciously "in love" with this guy? It never seemed as so. I think it would be kind of funny.

Another concern…. my kitten had died almost a year ago..and I never really dreamt of her. Lately she’s been in every dream. This started to happen a month ago or so: I dreamt of an EXACT day in my life after she’d died…it was just a normal day, nothing weird. Then my cat that survived got out the door and I went to go get him (my 2 cats always tried to get out and run around). When I got outside, I was suddenly in another EXACT day in my life, yet way further back and I saw both the kitties and I was AMAZED. "I’ve gone back in time and she’s alive!" I thought. I grabbed her asap and showed her to my parents and they were in disbelief, but we went on with the "other" exact day inside but with my passed away kitty from the "past". Hard to explain haha. She wont leave my dreams. This happened around when I found out I was pregnant , do you think that has anything to do with it?

ONE MORE CONCERN :P … Visions… they are always around. I have insomnia because of these visions because when I close my eyes they come at an instant. When I try to pray at night, i have to just ignore the weird images that pop in my head one after another (they last about 1-5 seconds). What’s wrong with me? Is it because of my "psychic powers"? lol I don’t believe in magic, but i do believe in the power of the mind, and I have a gift of telepathy, i can go in the past and future in my dreams, I astral travel (which is what people call lucid dreaming), i have strong emapthy, sometimes i catch myself talking to spirits without thinking about it, and I can control my feelings (ex. physical pain doesn’t bother me, but it is not muted completely, I just dont care). Are these visions spiritual or is my imagination just wild? The visions I get are of weird things…sometimes I see a random unknown face in a plastic bag sufficating, sometimes I see colour splashes with a sort of glow, sometimes I see random fields, sometimes i see specific buildings, sometimes I see something as detailed as a full family portrait. All of the images are of things that I’ve never actually seen before, or recall seeing at all.

Thanks for your time… I really hope to get some sort of an interperer to help me with my confusion.

Oh one more thing… the dreams that seem to have a meaning or come true in a sense of a phrase or short happening are in black and white. the dreams with color are so so so random but real and "normal" feeling, yet I can’t calculate everything in it to find out the meanings. By the way, even the black and white dreams are lucid.

1. Why am I having these lucid dreams so much lately?

2. Why am I dreaming of my old friend who happens to ironically have the same uncommon name as my fiance AND my current best friend

3. Why am I dreaming of my cat every night all of a sudden?

4. Are my visions important? Spiritual? Insight needed please :)

5. Is it common to have colored dreams mean different things than black and white dreams, in the way that mine differ?
