Hot flashes are oftentimes worse during the early part of menopause. You could also be experiencing thyroid issues which sometimes are mistaken for menopause or peri-menopause. I really suggest that you get your TSH tested( thyroid stimulating hormone) to see if something is out of order. It might be worth springing for blood tests to make sure everything is OK. If you have a thyroid issue, it is simple to fix by taking inexpensive meds. There's also pre-menopause that women can go through as early as in their 30's. My mom is 43 and is going through menopause. she also had a partial hysterectomy.
