If you have an infection, you should take antibiotics. Otherwise the fever can be very dangerous.
Antibiotics are not for a fever, they are for infection. Your Oral Surgeon should have already put you on antibiotics if your Wisdom Tooth is infected and it is scheduled for removal. It cannot be extracted without first clearing up any infection present. Call and make an appt to have the tooth x-rayed.
usually it last for about a week or two. Mabye you could try going to get some meds if it gets really bad.
One does not take antibiotics for a fever, dear.
If you have an infection you need antibiotics or you run the risk of the infection spreading.
Don’t mess with this.
If you are having the tooth removed the dentist will want you to take antibiotics prior to extraction anyhow.
Talk to your parents.
They can call your dentist for you and find out exactly what you should do.
Hope this helps.
