As long as you have money they will take care of you. But expect to pay up front for the services.
Also, for some reason they have a higher rate for those paying cash instead of insurance. I only found that out, after I no longer had insurance, and when to the dentist office to get some work done. They said they would give me the insurance rate to get it done.
Seems to me they would charge less for those paying cash than for insurance.
Ask someone whose judgment you trust if they know a good dentist. You’ll need to go for a checkup, and if you know of one cavity you may well have several. They will want to know if you have dental insurance because they will want to know how they are going to get paid.
To the other person answering–if a dentist participates in a particular dental plan, they may have signed a contract agreeing to a particular fee structure for covered patients. Often this means that patients without insurance wind up paying more. This happens with medical insurance too.
You think that it’s not fair that cash-paying patients in effect subsidize those who have insurance? I agree with you!

I had not been to the dentist in several years because I did not have insurance. Dental coverage on its own was too costly for our family. I researched several ways to achieve low cost coverage or a discount dental plan. Finally, I am pleased to find my sloution here http://www.dentalfree.info ,with the low cost and the amount of participating dentists in our area.
