Homeopathy lovers: have you ever tried to treat strep throat without an antibiotic? I have multiple?

occurences of strepp throat a year and am sick of always going on antibiotics as, i always end up back at the doctor for another ailment in another part of my body, due to the antibiotics killing off other good bacteria. Also, should I consider having my tonsils removed?

If you pay attention to your body, you’ll know when strep is coming on. If you’ve had it mulitple times, then like me, you’re very sensitive to it.
Try this, but it’s not medical advice - if you can’t control the strep, get to a doctor because the bacteria in strep can lead to really bad heart issues.
When you know it’s coming on, or even if it’s just the right time of year for you to get it again, gargle with salt water.
Now the nasty part, drink a couple of swallows of vinegar. Clear or apple cide, it doesn’t matter. Do this at least 3 times in one day.
It is nasty - kind of hard to keep down, but it will wipe the bacteria count down to something more managable for your immune system to handle by itself. And it gets the bacteria that is all along your throat to your stomach.
Nasty, but effective.
As for anti-biotics trashing your system by killing everything. You can fix this real quick…
ALWAYS: Take acidophilus two or three days after completing an anti-biotic. It will restore the healthy bowel flora killed off by the anti-biotic.
That should help reduce the number of bacterial infections you get in a year.
Take vitamin C every single day either in a pill or in food choices (preferable), no really - it works.
Finally, switch to natural cleaning products. The daily chemical load from these products often exceeds OSHA and EPA acceptable exposure limits. Your body is constantly battling the effects of a toxin-loaded environment. If you can reduce the amount of toxic petro-chemicals in your home, you will notice a reduction in colds, allergies, etc.
Absolutely have your tonsils removed! Usually if you have 4-5 bouts of strep a year they will do that. I would highly encourage you to have it done! Yes it hurts more as an adult but the constant ingestion of antibiotics is so bad for your body, it’s well worth it.
I got strep every month for a year and told my doctor to remove my tonsils or I would do it myself. That was 14 years ago and I haven’t had a single recurrence since.
