Has anyone that took antibiotics in the past ever heard of probiotics to replace what the antibiotics killed?
I watch a tv show called "Know the Cause" hosted by a Nutritional Scientist named Doug Kaufman. He’s really smart and he knows the real story about so many things that we should know.

I as a pharmacist often recommend that people eat yogurt between doses of antibiotics if they have upset stomach or diarrhea from them, or they can take probiotics supplements.
This is usually very helpful. Wait at least 2 hours after each abx dose to take your yogurt or supplement.
Yes. Probiotics is good stuff.
Yes, I have heard of that. My mom made me aware of that when she discovered it studying alternative medicine on her own accord. I believe the immediately following the end of your antibiotics that you are to start taking the probiotics to replace all of the good antibodies that the antibodic killed. I think that is was for a period of 2 weeks.
Here are a few articles regarding what probiotics are. As with all medical articles you need to use your own judgement and common sense and it’s always wise to seek the advise of a naturopath if you have in depth questions. Otherwise, probiotics are commonly found at health food stores.

Yogurt is not enough. You should take some probiotic supplements along with the prebiotic sugars that feed those bacteria (glucoolgosaccharides and frictoologosaccharides).
Actually probiotics are quite effective in simple illment like flu; sore throat; urinary tract infection and etc. But in term of potency, you need to take large dose that mean it should be 10-20 billions each dose for 3 or 4 time a day. Remember to take it empty stomach and not with hot water.
Quite a number of my customers are using probiotics to prevent or treating their simple illment. I got a case that using it to treat asthma but her 3 year daughter took 25-50 billions a day. Its work.
Find a multiple blend probiotics which is high in population.
Yogurt, Buttermilk or any food with active cultures. Take a supplement called, "Acidophilus".

I take it with every meal. When I was purchasing it…a guy said…that stuff rocks…my wife and I haven’t been sick since we started taking that…no colds, no flus….nothing.
I have been taking it for 3 months and I haven’t been sick either. And I used to use 2 sick days per month on average!
And…I won’t take antibiotics in the future if I don’t REALLY need them…because they will kill all the good stuff!
Good question and good luck!
