Does anyone have some healthy tips for shedding some weight before school?
I would like to lose some weight before school starts, but I want to lose weight the right way. I don’t want to diet just some healthy exercise what do you recommend? I have been using one of this Skip-its, lifting dumbbells, and eating yogurt alot. What else should I do???
P.S. i live in Iowa so i can’t exactly go to the beach

You need to cut starchy carbs out. Its not really dieting because its good for your body. Just switch white bread to brown bread and white rice to brown rice. Reduce your salt intake to stop your body retaining water and making you bloat.
Chew your food properly!! For the love of god!! No one does it enough but if you chew your food really thoroughly then your intestines dont swell and its easier for your digestion. It stops a bloated tummy. You also dont eat as much because you feel fuller. If in doubt, apply the 10% rule for everything you eat. Leave 10% behind and when you go back to it, you wont want it anymore because your body has settled the food you’ve already eaten. Take 30 mins to eat a meal so you arent eating too quickly and over eating.
Start off going for like a half hour walk up some hills in the morning to work your legs. Then you can do like a four km run every afternoon. Its not far and its just the right length but try sprint the last 100m. It feels amazing to do that. Beach runs are really good and work quickly. Put your sneakers on and run along the beach in the soft sand dunes and it works your legs so hard and is so much harder than it looks.
Drink 8-12 glasses of water everyday, and cut down on your sodium intake!
