I have always had sweaty and cold hands and feet and that is important in Chinese Medicine. Now that I take their Herbal Products that are meant for Kidney Yang and Yang Jing, sometimes for a moment my hands, feet, and/or face warm up. Is that due to the Herbs and the Yang building? Why is it only for a moment and only slightly? Does that mean it is building?

I’m not talking about a dictionary translation of the word(s). If the Chinese use it in their herbal medicine, what do they call it? What’s the name of the Chinese equivalent herb?

I heard that treating Hyperthyroidism with Western medicine often time causes you to have Hypothyroidism. I just started to treat my Hyperthyroidism using Chinese medicine, but I always am tempted to go for aropathiuc medicine.

Google search really didn’t help. I want to know what Chinese medicine has to say about having a lack of emotional connectivity? I’ve been like this for my whole life I think. What does it mean, and is it helpable?

I got a perscription from a Chinese Medicine Doc today for skin issues, and to start she gave me a bunch of herbs to make a tea to drink twice a day. She told me how to brew it, but I have a question on how to drink it properly. There is alot of sediment once I strain it through a metal mesh strainer, should I drink the sediment, or next time should I strain it through cloth?

I am trying acupuncture and have read studies (conducted in the West) that say it can be very helpful. But they gave me some electrical treatment the other day, and now the elbow is much more sore than before. Is this typical?
