I had a hysterectomy many years ago and am now wondering, without this indication of the onset of menopause, how else do you tell if as a 51 year old woman when I am experiencing menopause?

I still have symptoms but I don’t know how long it should last. I’m 55 and have been in menopause for approximately four to five years.

I’m having my last ovary removed next week. Will the menopause symptoms hit right away? Am I in for a nightmare or just a bumpy ride. I have to wait a couple weeks before starting any hormones due to endometriosis.

I’ve been told there is anew hormonal test which can determine when they think the menopause will start. Is this right?

My mother was prescribed a bioidentical hormone in the form of a cream for her menopause. She is wondering if anyone knew the best time of day to apply the cream of does it not matter? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Do you still get horny? Do you still get wet? (I know that at menopause you stop your period.) Do guys reach a certain point where they stop getting horny or stop getting erections or stop ejaculating? Just curious.

I’ve heard that oral hormones during menopause makes it harder to loose weight. Is that true?

About a year ago, I was diagnosed with fibroids. Now that my course of menopause is about over, when will the fibroids begin to shrink?

I hate that my period’s irregular! I always think that I’m fine and then I go and bleed all over my underwear at school when I can’t just change them and wash them, and the blood sets in. I’ve had my period for just over a year, so I know that it can still be bouncing around, but for how long?
And around what age does menopause occur? On second thought, what is menopause exactly?

I really do not want to use any HRT therapy, even bio-identicals. Can you recommend a type of Dr. to see that can treat menopause symptoms without a prescription of some type?

During menopause it is common for women to dry up ‘down there’.
Does anyone know from experience or as a medical professional how much you actually do dry up?
