Did you know that you must have HIV first before it turns into AIDS? So, your question really is can you catch HIV from drinking after someone? The answer is the same one:NO. Since Transmission can occur it is done so by these ways. Through blood, semen, pre-seminal fluid, vaginal fluid, or breast milk of an infected person enters the body of an uninfected person. Simply put you can only get HIV by having oral, vaginal, or anal sex. By sharing needles or equipment of an injection drug user who is infected with HIV, or from HIV infected woman through breast milk given to there babies before or after birth, or through breast feeding after birth are the only ways of transmitting HIV. There is allot of misconceptions about both HIV and AIDS. This should be the time to take to learn about them. Once you’re old enough to ask how, you’re old enough to start learning how not to. Good luck and God Bless
AIDS cannot be transmitted by saliva. So, catching the virus by drinking out of the same cup is virtually impossible.
You won’t get AIDS, because it is not transmitted through saliva, and since you drank from a different straw, its even less probable. But, If I were you, I would never drink from the same cup (because I’m like that lol.)
NO , not at all
AIDS can be transmitted (from person to person) by only two ways : blood transmission and unprotected sex.
Very unlikely. Aids is transmitted through semen, vaginal fluid and blood so if you come in contact with any of these three things then you should be worried. If you’re still kind of worried go get tested but HIV has a six month window period, which means you could be infected but when you get tested it comes up negative. But if I were you I wouldn’t worry about it.
I know that if someone has bad teeth that bleed or,or an open wound in there mouth(cold sore)or, their lip you can have a great chance at catching aids
