Yes, they have a heart they have veins, arteries, so yes they can get blood pressure. It would depend on the age of the cat, the older the more chance they have of health problems, so it would be lathery, not wanting to eat, wanting to go for a wee, or not weeing and so on. Best of Luck
Absolutely.
Cats are mammals, and they are subject to the same illnesses and health conditions that other mammals get. There are not "symptoms" for high blood pressure. People can have high blood pressure for years and never know, which is why an annual physical is so important.
Anyway, I had a Persian cat, who had kidney disease, and one of the results was high blood pressure. Take your cat to the vet if you suspect some illness or condition. That’s the only way to determine what’s going on.
Commercially produced cat foods are balanced not to have too much salt, so I’m not sure why a cat would get too much in their diet.
When our Persian was still alive, we did have to put him on a special diet for his kidney problems, and we also gave him a pill each day for his high blood pressure–the same thing my husband takes for his.
