I am a type 2 diabetic, its non obesity related. I haven’t been able to check my sugar in ages, and ive been chugging water a lot lately. I have health insurance but even with it I still cannot afford testing strips. I have a freestyle lite glucose meter if that helps. Thanks.

By traditional medicine I don’t mean dancing around with a chicken bone and chanting in a hopes of being cured, I mean things more along the lines of herbal and home remedies. Just for the record.

Someone’s comment said that an autistic would be likely to comit friendly fire. From my point of view, he was concluding that autistic peope are stupid, dumb and unfit for society. There are aspies in the military. The question is this. Are there any other high functioning autistic people in the armed forces? It’s highly possible. But does the military know that?

I am covered by my wife’s medical insurance plan. The coverage is good and doesn’t cost us anything extra for me to be listed on her policy. My employer offers medical insurance, however it’s a small company and I’ve heard negative things about the cost/benefits. I’m wondering if it’s acceptable to ask for compensation in lieu of medical insurance. If so, how much is appropriate to ask for? Because it is a small company there isn’t already a precedent for this situation. I live in Oregon.

Why is it that a middle class Christian in the US is more likely to be blessed with a raise, new car, or a perfect baby than a starving, abused, or diseased child is to be blessed with escape from their torment?
As for myself, if there is a God, I want no blessings from Him so long as there is anyone else suffering greater than myself.
